Working with documents

Documents are the core unit of Aago. Each one has a title, rich block content, an optional cover image and icon, and a place in your hierarchy.

Nesting

Pages can be nested to any depth. Create a child with the + button on any sidebar item, or drag a page onto another to re-parent it. Reordering is drag-and-drop.

Archive and restore

Archiving hides a document and everything nested under it from the sidebar without deleting anything. Restoring brings the whole tree back — if a document's parent is still archived, the restored page is detached to the top level so it isn't lost in a hidden tree.

Duplicate

Duplicating copies a document's content, cover, and icon into a new page. Children are not copied — only the single document.

Favorites and recent

Star pages to pin them in Favorites. Aago also tracks recently opened documents so you can jump back to in-progress work.

Use the search command (sidebar or keyboard shortcut) to find documents by title across your whole workspace.

Trash

Deleted documents go to Trash first. Restore them individually, or Empty trash to delete everything permanently — including uploaded files referenced only by those documents.
