Sharing and publishing

Any document can become a public web page with one click.

Publish a document

Open the document menu and choose Publish. You'll get a public preview link anyone can open — no Aago account needed. Published pages show the latest saved content.

Archived documents are never public, even if the publish flag is set. Unpublishing is instant: flip the toggle and the link stops working.

Upload files

Attach images, video, audio, and PDFs as cover images or editor blocks. Uploads go to private cloud storage and are served through expiring, signed URLs where the app requires it.

Deleting files

Removing a cover, replacing media, deleting a document, or emptying trash also deletes the underlying stored files — Aago collects every referenced URL (cover + content blocks) and cleans them up so storage doesn't leak.

Good to know

  • Only publish content you're comfortable sharing with the whole internet.
  • Unpublish before archiving if a link may have been shared.
  • File links inside a private document still require your session — only published pages are world-readable.
